• Geology and Geophysics of the Solar System (PTYS/GEOS/HWRS 411) Guest Lecture

  Lunar and Planetary Laboratory, Tucson, AZ | March 17th, 2026

  

  Teaching an undergraduate class introductory glaciology.

  Gave a 75 minute lecture to teach undergraduate students about basic glacial and periglacial processess on Earth and Mars. Topics included:

  • Providing a general overview of glacial flow, glacier morphologies/types, glacial features (erosional an depositional), and periglacial processes/features.
  • Showed 3D HiRISE anaglphs to aid students in visualizing glacial and periglacial features on Mars.
  • Answered student questions to improve their understanding of difficult concepts.
